CHANGES TO SCHOOL UNIFORM FROM SEPTEMBER 2019
There will be changes to our school uniform from September 2019 for Year 1 – 6 children.
The change is being introduced to improve the current standard of uniform being worn by children in the school and to ensure that we have a cost effective, smart uniform that is a representation of the high standards we uphold.
Uniform is an important part of a school’s identity. It reinforces who we are as a community and helps allow children to feel pride in their school. It also ensures that children are not put under any pressure because of the type of clothes they wear and all are treated equally.
The biggest change we will be making to the uniform is a change from round neck to V neck sweatshirts. We are also introducing shirts and ties as part of the compulsory new uniform. Girls will have an option to wear a cardigan.
Another change we are implementing is the way you can purchase uniform. Uniform can now be bought online from our supplier Bradsports. Please see the link below. You will be able to purchase online, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with delivery direct to your home address giving you complete flexibility. We will only hold a small amount of stock in school so we strongly encourage parents to purchase in advance online.
Our supplier has agreed to come in during Parents Evenings throughout the year and have a shop open to parents to purchase uniform, again eliminating the need to purchase directly from the School office.
Once again, thank you for your continued support.
