Year 6 Homework Expectations

Weekly the children will receive:

Home reader- a book to read at least 4 times a week. Parents to sign and complete reading log. Children are expected to change their home reader a minimum of once a week.
10 Spellings- A spelling list will be provided each week and tested on the following week. Handwriting is part of this, as the children have to Look, Say, Cover and write the words.
Times tables practise- all times tables and corresponding division facts
Maths Homework.
Comprehension/English Homework.
