Beacon Primary School

Lighting the way to a brighter future

Choir

Choir rehearsals are led by Mr Smith and take place on a Tuesday between 3.15pm and 4.15pm as well as Wednesday lunchtime between 12.45pm and 1.15pm in the Performing Arts Room. The choir is open to children in Years 3 to 6.

We will learn and sing a range of songs in different styles and genres such as Pop and Rock. We will sing songs from different decades so the children get the chance to learn about and hear how music has evolved over time. There will also be chances to sing songs from different cultures from around the world and in different languages too!

The Beacon Choir will have the opportunity to showcase their talents over the year at different venues and events such as: The Singing Festival at Walsall Arena, Christmas Showcase at Walsall Arena, Walsall Manor Hospital, Beacon's Got Talent, Beacon Dance Festival, Beacon Summer Showcase and Young Voices!
